Our Story

Welcome to Hue Heritage, where we light up your life—literally! We’re Raul and Anthony, the dynamic duo behind this candle-making caper that started with a heartfelt gift and a few tears (don’t worry, we’ve since upgraded to tissues). Picture this: a cozy kitchen in Mexico, a melting pot of creativity, and a wax-melter that turned our candle dreams into a reality. Who knew a little Christmas present could spark such a flame? (Pun totally intended!)

Our journey began when Anthony, in a moment of pure genius (or maybe just holiday spirit), gifted Raul’s sister, Deb, a fancy wax-melter to help her churn out candles faster than you can say “scent-sational.” Deb previously melted all wax over the stove which was a LONG and ARDUOUS process, making it difficult to fulfill orders in a timely manner. Cue the waterworks! Deborah cried from pure heartfelt joy from this gift. In that moment you could feel the struggle of her being a small-business entrepreneur trying to make ends meet. It was just the little bit of oomph she needed to keep going and yes, once Deb cries, we all cry. It was a lovefest of tears - Deborah, Anthony, Mama Chivis, and Raul. It became a bizarrely sentimental moment, but the perfect family affair that ignited our passion for bringing her love of candle-making to the states.

Anthony also conjured (he's quite the creative guru, we must say) the brilliant idea of crafting our creations from concrete, creating unique candles that bring a touch of Mexico’s magic to your home. Once back in the states we were ready to start our brand, so after months of research, trial & error, and tons of love, we mastered the art of concrete candle making. Here we are today, a family inspired business - delivering beautifully hand crafted candles and more that add a touch of love and decor to your homes.

At Hue Heritage, we’re all about those good vibes and clean-burning materials. From wood wicks to eco-friendly water based sealants, as well as high yield and non-toxic Coconut-Apricot Wax. Our exclusive One Wick vessels are inspired by the enchanting Cenotes of Mexico, our two and three wick vessels are inspired by the beautiful stonework found all across the land, our stone-infused vessels are influenced by the weathered stone temples & ancient towns, and our Holiday Edition candles capture the essence of the colorfully enthusiastic culture (think cozy nights and festive cheer). We believe that every flicker of our candles tells a story, and we’re here to share ours with you—one delightful scent at a time. So, come on in, grab a candle, and let’s light up the world together! (Just remember to keep the tissues handy, just in case.)
